Monument Valley is an impressive collection of buttes and cliffs on the Navajo lands in Arizona. Several John Ford Westerns were shot there and parts of the sets remain. the interaction of the juniper and the butte caught my eye. The juniper seemed to be bowing to the butte, its elder. |  |
